About Us

Consumers Development, LLC was incorporated in 2004. It is 100% owned by Consumers Energy and has a management agreement with its parent company for the daily operations. It has a five person Board of Directors elected annually by the Consumers Energy Board of Directors. The purpose of CDLLC is to own and manage the Marshalltown Gateway Centre development. Consumers Development, LLC will also lease land from Consumers Energy in order to own, operate and maintain renewable energy generating units.
